‘Joy’는 카톨릭 사제 김해일 신부 (김남길 분)를 중심으로 뭉친 ‘구담 어벤져스’가 악의 카르텔이장악한 구담시를 살리는 과정에서 놀라운 능력을 발휘, 그들의 사이다 행진에서 느껴지는 밝고유쾌함을 담아낸 곡이다.
이번 곡에는 국내 드라마 OST로는 이례적으로 영국밴드 Mamas Gun(마마스건)의 리더이자 보컬인 Andy Platts(앤디 플랫츠)가 직접 작곡, 작사, 편곡 및 가창에까지 참여하여 큰 관심을 모으고 있다. Mamas Gun(마마스건)은 영국기반의 5인조 밴드로 뛰어난 무대매너와 라이브 실력으로 국내, 일본을 포함한 아시아 지역 팬들의 관심을 한 몸에 받고 있으며, 전 세계 각종 음원 차트에서 탑10에 오를 만큼 전 세계적으로도 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 그룹이다. 특히 Andy Platts(앤디 플랫츠)는 존박, 박효신 등 국내의 톱 아티스트들과의 작업을 통해 국내 팬들에게는 친숙한 이름으로 자리매김하고 있다.
