'알리' [ALi's WONDERLAND]
라이브의 여제 '알리'가 오는 12월 9일 스페셜 리메이크 앨범 [ALi's WonderLand]로 돌아온다. MBC 복면가왕에서 강렬하고 감동적인 무대와 화려한 퍼포먼스로 가왕자리에 오르며 대중들의 사랑을 받은 알리는 지난달 '또 생각이 나서'로 컴백하자마자, 음원차트 상위권을 기록하며 가왕다운 위엄을 보여줬다. 이어 또 한번 추운 겨울 알리만의 감성이 담긴 크리스마스 캐롤로 팬들에게 달콤한 목소리를 선사한다.
이번 스페셜 앨범 [ALi's WonderLand]는 겨울이 되면 주변에서 쉽게 들을 수 있었던 크리스마스 캐롤을 '알리'만의 색깔로 재해석 한 것으로, 달콤하면서도 부드럽게 들려주는 '알리'의 보컬은 올 겨울 가장 따듯하고 아름다운 선물이 될 것이다. 이번 앨범 작업은 특별한 곳에서 진행 되었다. 음악으로 세상을 평정했던 '비틀즈'부터 '클리프 리처드' 등 유명 아티스트들이 녹음을 해온 영국 애비로드 스튜디오에서 레코딩과 마스터링을 진행하였다.
이번 앨범의 타이틀곡인 "Winter WonderLand"는 캐롤 중에서도 전통이 있는 명곡으로 가요세션과 재즈등 다양한 분야에서 활동하고 있는 실력파 뮤지션 재즈피아니스트 '이송이'씨가 참여해 스윙재즈 스타일로 재 편곡 되었다. 피아노 선율에 고급스러운 Bass 사운드가 주를 이루고 있으며 따뜻하면서 화려한 오케스트레이션과 '알리'의 스캣이 돋보이는 곡이다. 이에 '알리'의 달달하면서 맑은 보이스가 완벽하게 어우려저 한층 더 즐거운 느낌을 전해준다.
