지난 밤 차가운 바람이 내 방 창 틈으로 조심스레 불어왔다.

무엇에 겁을 먹은 걸까, 난 어깨를 잔뜩 움츠린 채 걸어가 창문을 손 끝으로 살짝 당겨봤다.

왜인지 닫히지 않는 창문은 그 틈 사이에 먼지를 가득 숨겨주고 있었다.

 

너와 나도 우리 사이에 닫히지 않고 삐걱대는 무언가를 여름이 가는 동안 서로 모르는 척 한 건 아닐까.

네 발 끝과 내 발 끝이 닿는다면 우리는 정말 사라지지 않을까.

 

기억이 엇갈리면 엇갈린 대로 우리 늘 만나던 곳에서 만나자.

그리고 조금의 시간이라도 남아 있다면 같이 되돌리러 가자.
