처음 에릭의 노래를 들었을 때, 우리(KOLAJ)는 에릭의 보컬 톤에서 느껴지는 공기감과 청량함에 매료되었다. 그래서 우리는 따로 존재할 때는 어딘지 모르게 불완전하게 느껴지는 두 존재가 서로를 만나 완전해지는 느낌의 작업을 하고 싶었다. 에릭은 콜라주의 사운드, 특히 최근에 발매한 노래 "The Touch"의 팬이었고, 그래서 우리는 함께 작업할 음악에서도 여름의 청량감 넘치는 바이브를 유지하고 싶었다. 마이크가 기존에 스케치해둔 곡을 에릭이 함께 디벨롭했고, 우리는 "Diving Into You" 컨셉이 이 곡에 완벽하게 어울릴 것이라고 생각했다. 우리가 즐겁게 녹음한 데모를 들은 사람들은 모두 Kpop과 트로피컬 장르가 함께 만나 탄생한 달콤한 사운드에 열광적인 반응을 보여주었고, 이에 음원을 정식으로 발매하게 되었다. 어쩌면 우리는 'K-Trop'라는 새로운 음악 장르를 만들어낸 것일지도 모른다.
