편안한 발라드를 선사하는 '임창정'의 아홉 번째 정규 앨범!
3~5집에서 호흡을 맞춘 김형석과 콤비를 이루어 만들어 낸 앨범이다. 타이틀곡은 사랑하는 여인을 다른 남자에게 떠나 보내고 난 후 아파하는 마음을 담은 애절한 발라드 "슬픈 혼잣말"이며, 아름다운 메이저 팝발라드로 부드러운 피아노와 스트링의 조화가 돋보이며 감미롭고 섬세한 곡이다. 또한 남이 되어버린 사랑이지만 항상 곁에서 지켜보며 사랑한단 슬픈 혼잣말을 되뇌며 바보처럼 착한 남자의 심정을 애절한 멜로디와 가사로 완성한 곡 이기도 하다. 또한 "No Choice"는 평소 좋아했던 시네마 천국의 테마를 가미하여 부각 시킨 곡이며, 팝을 듣는 느낌을 느낄 수 있다. 6/8박자의 Gospel 느낌의 발라드 "내게 남을 한사람"은 친근하고 따뜻한 멜로디와 오케스트라와 코러스의 웅장함이 이 곡의 느낌을 살린 곡이다.
