앨범설명
뛰어난 프로듀싱 실력을 자랑하는 015B 정석원과 최고의 보컬이 만남으로서 탄생한 박정현 정규 4집 [Op. 4]. 앨범명을 살펴보면 작품번호라는 의미의 단순한 제목인 듯 하지만 우수한 완성도를 자신했다는 반증으로도 다가온다. 타이틀 곡 "꿈에"는 대한민국 대표 R&B 디바라는 칭호가 전혀 부담스럽지 않을 박정현의 역량이 고스란히 담겨 있다. 웬만한 가창력으로는 소화하기 힘든 곡 난이도와 후반부에 느껴지는 웅장함은 최고라는 찬사가 아깝지 않다. 타이틀곡 외에도 기타리스트 김세황이 참여하고 시작부터 이전과는 확연히 달라진 면모를 느낄 수 있었던 트랙 NO.1 "Plastic Flower (상사병)" 그리고 "사랑이 올까요", "생활의 발견", "미장원에서", 등 이전 앨범에서 느껴지던 박정현 특유의 감미로움을 한껏 뿜어내는 곡들도 대중의 많은 사랑을 받았다. 2002년 한일 월드컵 열기 속에서 조용히 피어났지만 리스너들 마음 속에서 커다란 파동을 일으킨 박정현 [Op. 4]. 대중성과 작품성을 고루 갖춘 앨범으로 오랜 시간 사람들 뇌리 속에 각인되면서 박정현의 대표적인 명반으로 평가 받고 있다.
