지난해 10월 첫 번째 디지털 싱글앨범 Bomb으로 '멀티버스(다중 우주) 속 A.I(인공지능)'라는 획기적인 콘셉으로 다채로운 매력과 음악에 대한 무한한 가능성을 보여주며 글로벌 아티스트로 성장하고 있는 알렉사의 두 번째 EP앨범이 10월21일 발매된다.
이번 앨범에서는 기존의 “girl crush”와는 다른 ‘알렉사’만의 독보적이고 강력한 컨셉을 보여줄 예정이다.
앨범명인 '‘DECOHERENCE’는 물리학적 단어로, 한국어로는 '결읾음' 이라고 부른다. 다른 K-POP 여성 솔로 가수들의 틀을 깨고, 알렉사만의 독보적인 컨셉으로 K-POP의 3.0 시작을 이끌어 나가는 알렉사를 표현하고 있다.
이번 앨범 ‘DECOHERENCE’는 타이틀곡 ‘Revolution’을 비롯해 알렉사의 파워풀한 보컬을 보여주는 ‘Burn Out’, 팬들을 위해 만든 ‘Moon and Back’, 글로벌 팬들을 위한 ‘Revolution(English Ver.)’까지 다채로운 조합과 음악 색깔을 보여준다.
데뷔 곡 'Bomb'부터 3부작 시리즈의 대작 뮤직비디오 공개를 예고하며 1편(Bomb),2편(Do or Die)에서 팬들을 깜짝 놀라게 했으며, 이번 앨범에서 3편 'Revolution' 뮤직비디오 공개를 예고하며 팬들의 기대감을 높이고 있다.
다른 뮤직비디오에서는 볼 수 없었던 로케이션과 액션, CGI 사용하여 영화보다 더 큰 스케일의 대작 뮤직비디오가 탄생했다.
이번 뮤직비디오 역시 아시아 최고 뮤직비디오 제작사이자 대한민국 최대 크리에이티브 집단인 ‘쟈니브로스'와 손을 잡았으며, 알렉사(AleXa)의 다채로운 연기와 한층 더 강력해진 퍼포먼스가 합쳐져 한순간도 눈을 뗄 수 없는 한편의 블록버스터 영화 같은 뮤직비디오가 탄생했다.
알렉사의 두 번째 미니 앨범은 BTS,레드벨벳 등 국내 최고 가수들과 작업하고,빌보드 차트 상위권을 휩쓸고 있는 세계 최고의 작곡가 군단과, 작사에는 마마무,원어스 제작사인 RBW 황성진 프로듀서가 참여하여 앨범의 완성도를 높였다.
