서영은의 8번째 정규앨범 [그리움이 내린 나무]
이번 8집 앨범 [그리움이 내린 나무]에는 총 11곡이 들어있으며 디지털 싱글앨범에 속해있던 4곡이 포함되어 있다. 이들 4곡은 디지털 싱글앨범을 통해 엄청난 음원수익을 올린 곡으로써 팬들로부터 앨범으로 소장하고 싶다는 러브콜을 계속 받아왔기에 이번 앨범에 포함하게 되었다고. 또한 이번 앨범에 수록된 '한걸음씩' 이란 곡은 휴먼다큐를 통해 사연이 알려진 뇌종양 환우 손재희 양의 노래를 서영은이 리메이크 했다. 서영은의 콘서트에서 함께 노래를 부를 정도로 인연이 깊었기에 하늘나라에 간 손재희양을 기리며 서영은만의 감성적인 매력을 담았다. 소속사 측은 "서영은의 경우 가요계의 블루칩과 같다. 매번 매진되는 공연과 엄청난 음원수익은 물론 뛰어난 앨범판매량이 이를 뒷받침한다"며 "이번 8집 앨범을 통해 가수 서영은이 발라드의 여왕이라는 것을 다시한번 느낄 수 있다"고 덧붙였다.
