Northern Lights는 팝과 EDM의 크로스오버 곡으로, THIRD PARTY만의 업리프팅(Uplifting) 감성과 넬 김종완의 섬세한 보컬이 만나 뜨거운 여름을 시원하게 달래줄 청량한 곡이 탄생하였다.
‘오로라(Aurora)’로도 불리는 Northern Lights로, 캄캄한 밤하늘에서 가장 잘 볼 수 있는 오로라처럼, 외로운 시간을 보내고 있는 사람들에게 밝은 희망을 주고자 한다.
넬의 첫 해외 아티스트 콜라보레이션 곡인 Northern Lights는 THIRD PARTY가 프로듀싱 하였으며, 김종완은 작사, 보컬로 참여하여 특유의 서정적인 감성을 담은 위로의 메시지를 가사에 녹였다.
신규 레이블 CO-NECTD는 동서양을 연결하는 현대의 ‘실크로드’를 모티브로, DJ/프로듀서와 보컬리스트, 래퍼들과의 콜라보레이션 음원을 지속적으로 발매할 예정이다. 첫 발매 곡 Northern Lights에 이은 CO-NECTD의 신보를 기대해 보자.
