'마마무 화사' & '에스나' X '포플레이'가 만들어낸 유럽풍 재즈 힙합 [Love Comes] 발매
걸그룹 '마마무의 화사'와 '소유x정기고' "썸"의 작곡가이자 작사가로 뛰어난 싱어송라이터로 인정받고 있는 '에스나(eSNa)'가 프로듀싱팀 '포플레이'와 함께 콜라보레이션을 통해 싱글곡 "Love Comes"를 발표했다. 프로듀싱팀 '포플레이 (Forplay: Jason & Alex)'는 최근 재즈 알앤비 뮤지션 'Sam Ock'의 고급스러운 얼반 재즈곡인 "Fallin'"을 시작으로 시크릿의 메인 보컬 '송지은'의 "Tell Me"를 선보이며 프로젝트 앨범들을 진행 중이며, 이번에 2017년 세 번째 싱글 프로젝트에 '마마무 화사'와 '에스나'가 참여하였다.
이번 곡 "Love Comes"는 우연히 찾아온 사랑에 대한 설레는 마음을 담은 재즈 힙합 음악으로 빈티지한 힙합 드럼과 그루브한 베이스 리듬을 메인 테마로 하여 아름다운 선율의 피아노, 일렉기타, 브라스가 조화롭게 이루어져 다채롭고 화려한 느낌을 준다. 또한 뛰어난 재즈보컬을 구사하는 화사와 에스나는 특유의 개성 있는 보이스로 절묘한 콤비를 이루며 유러피안 스타일 재즈의 진수를 들려주고 있다. 포플레이는 이러한 분위기에 가장 적절한 세션을 결합한 프로듀싱으로 보컬에 매력을 더하였으며 또한 국내 최고의 세션맨 이태윤, 배정은, 이성렬과 펑키밴드 커먼그라운드가 참여하여 곡의 완성도를 더욱 높여 주었다.
