방탄소년단 제이홉-뷔 유닛곡 ‘A Brand New Day’ 공개! 유니크한 사운드와 동양 전통악기 조화
글로벌 슈퍼스타 방탄소년단이 참여한 BTS 월드 OST 앨범의 두 번째 유닛곡 ‘A Brand New Day (BTS WORLD OST Part.2)’가 디지털 싱글로 6월 14일 공개된다.
‘A Brand New Day’는 방탄소년단의 제이홉과 뷔가 함께 부른 곡으로, 영국 출신 힙합 일렉트로닉 뮤직 프로듀서이자 비트 메이커인 무라 마사(Mura Masa)가 프로듀싱을 맡았다. 두렵고 무서운 마음이 있지만 내 안의 목소리에 집중하면 꿈을 이룰 수 있다는 의지를 노래한 일렉트로닉 힙합(Electronic-Hip hop) 곡이다.
이 곡은 무라 마사 특유의 유니크한 비트와 동양 악기 소리가 과감하면서도 조화롭게 어우러진다. 처음부터 전통악기 대금의 연주가 곡 전반을 리드하면서 한국적이면서도 가장 트렌디한 사운드를 보여준다.
방탄소년단 제이홉의 래핑과 뷔의 소울풀한 음색에 차세대 팝스타로 떠오르고 있는 스웨덴 출신의 자라 라슨(Zara Larsson)이 함께해 동서양의 보컬이 한데 어우러져 매력적인 조화를 이룬다.
테이크원이 개발하고 넷마블이 6월 26일에 글로벌 출시 예정인 ‘BTS 월드’는 게임의 이용자가 방탄소년단의 매니저가 되어 방탄소년단 일곱 멤버를 글로벌 최고의 아티스트로 성장시키는 스토리텔링형 육성 게임이다. ‘A Brand New Day’는 ‘BTS 월드’를 위해 새롭게 만든 오리지널 사운드 트랙(Original Sound Track)이다. ‘BTS 월드 OST’는 오는 6월 28일 정식 앨범으로 발매된다.
