2020년 상반기 최고의 기대작으로 주목받고 있는 JTBC 금토드라마 [이태원 클라쓰]의 첫 번째 OST가 공개됐다.
드라마 [이태원 클라쓰]는 화제성과 흥행성을 동시에 인정받으며 웹툰 마니아들의 뜨거운 사랑을 받은 동명의 웹툰을 원작으로 제작되는 드라마로 박서준, 김다미, 유재명, 권나라 등 클래스 다른 배우들이 출연을 확정 지으며 일찌감치 2020년 상반기 최고의 기대작으로 주목받은 드라마이다.
[이태원 클라쓰 OST]의 첫 번째 주자로는 지난해 [슈퍼밴드]를 통해 ‘영혼을 울리는 목소리’라는 극찬을 받은 이찬솔이 참여하였다. 이찬솔의 감성 가득한 목소리가 묵직한 감동을 더하는 [Still Fighting It]은 미국의 프로듀서이자 싱어송라이터인 Ben Folds가 2001년 발표한 솔로 데뷔 앨범 [Rockin’ The Suburbs]에 수록되었던 곡이다. 이 곡은 Ben Folds가 자신의 아들을 생각하며 만든 곡으로 성장에 수반되는 성장통에 대한 송가이다. 광고, TV 프로그램 등에 배경음악으로 사용되며 대중에게도 친숙한 이 곡은 소신을 포기하지 않는 삶을 가르친 새로이의 아버지와 새로이(박서준)의 서사를 뒷받침하며 드라마 시청자와 리스너들에게 뭉클한 감동을 전해줄 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
