SBS 금토 드라마 “배가본드” OST의 세 번째 주자로 대체 불가 매력적인 보이스의 소유자인 싱어송라이터 ‘아일’이 나선다.
"Breaking Dawn"은 배가본드의 음악을 총괄하고 있는 남혜승 음악감독과 프로듀싱팀 "B.a.B"의 협업으로 탄생한 곡이다. 감성적인 멜로디와 가사에 마음을 울리는 ‘아일’ 특유의 보이스와 드럼비트, 그리고 점점 거칠게 빌드업되며 락킹해지는 일렉기타 연주의 조합이 곡의 기승전결을 완벽하게 메우고 있다. 마치 극중 남자 주인공인 달건(이승기 분)이 세상과 맞서 싸우는 외로움과 의지가 담겨 있는 듯 하다.
올해 최고의 화제로 떠올랐던 ‘슈퍼밴드’의 우승팀 ‘호피폴라’의 프런트맨이자 보컬로 참여했던 ‘아일’은 아티스트로서도 점점 그 행보를 이어가고 있다. 이번 곡에서도 ‘아일’의 목소리는 그만이 갖고 있는 독특한 색깔로 비트감 있는 밴드의 연주를 담담히 뚫고 나오면서도 감성적인 풍부한 표현력으로 듣는 이의 귀를 사로잡는다. ‘배가본드’의 시청자뿐 아니라 이 노래를 듣게 되는 리스너들에게 특별한 울림을 안겨줄 것으로 기대된다.
한편, SBS 금토 드라마 “배가본드(VAGABOND)”는 민항 여객기 추락 사고에 연루된 한 남자가 은폐된 진실 속에서 찾아낸 거대한 국가 비리를 파헤치게 되는 드라마다. 가족도, 소속도, 심지어 이름도 잃은 ‘방랑자(Vagabond)’들의 위험천만하고 적나라한 모험이 펼쳐지는 첩보액션멜로로, 지난 9월 20일 첫 방송 이후 많은 사랑을 받고 있다.
