JTBC 새 월화드라마 ‘라이프’는 2018 백상예술대상에서 TV 부문 대상 영예를 차지한 것은 물론 극본상, 남자 최우수연기상까지 3관왕을 차지하며 그 위상을 입증한 ‘비밀의 숲’ 이수연 작가의 두번째 작품으로 병원의 감춰진 민낯과 이를 둘러싼 다양한 인간 군상을 담아내었다.
하동균의 Home은 이지리스닝(Easy Listening)을 기반으로 한 어덜트 컨템포러리(Adult Contemporary) 장르로써, 70-80년대를 상기시키는 사운드와 멜로디가 누구나 편하게 들을 수 있지만 결코 가볍지 않은 무게감을 선사한다. 도입부부터 잔잔하게 흘러 나오는 피아노 위에 하동균의 존재감 있는 깊은 보이스가 더해져 쓸쓸하지만 따뜻한 감성을 느낄 수 있으며, 마치 저녁 노을이 지는 하늘 아래 자신이 걸어온 발자취를 돌아 보며 수많은 사연을 등에 진 채 집으로 향하는 고독한 자의 뒷모습이 떠오르는 곡이다.
작곡에는 한관희, 송영민, 박상준이 참여하였으며, 작사에는 Brand Newjiq이 참여하였다.
